I have lived in Central Oregon for 16 years. It truly is a colorful state ! It amazes me how much beauty and uniqueness it has to offer. Just when I think that I have seen it all I stumble upon something enchanting and beautiful like these Painted Hills. Wow... Breath taking! If only a photograph could capture what a human eye can see..  But I try ;)

Mother Nature is always at her best..

These colorful clay hills and mounds were formed over 35 million years ago! Absolutely fascinating...
