Christmas Ornaments

I love this time a year. It's full of so much magic, love and kindness.

One of my favorite things to do around Christmas time is paint on glass ornaments.

Here is a few that I've done this year...

A letter to snow

Dear snow ... Please don't go away just yet ! There is just so much more playing around that's left to do... Freezing fingers and toes and unfinished snowmans... If you would just come back and spend some more time with me I would even forgive you for the frozen pipes. So pleazzzz consider staying a while longer :)

Thanks
Sincerely Always Yours

Winter Photography

Enchanting Winter:

Couple of years back, early morning, I stepped outside to start my car and to my surprise this is what I found. My car was covered in this beautiful frost. The photo doesn't even come close in describing the beauty and the magic that my eyes have witnessed. It was truly divine

Winter is my absolutely favorite season...

So much kindness and magic around...

I love this abandoned cabin, It's one of my favorite sports to capture photographs...

Drawings

To Draw, or Not to Draw- that is the question ( Shakespeare knock off)

Some of my work from a drawing class that I took last year:

This was a lot of fun... We had to pick out a section from a mountain of stuff and bring it to live on paper. Charcoal was the medium used.

Final project:

Dedicated to my childhood memories. Mostly done in charcoal and some pastels.

About this next drawing...

It is based on a photograph taken by an Iraqi Artist in an orphanage; the story is... this little girl has never seen her mother, so she drew a mom and feel asleep next to her. (I couldn't find the original photograph) Medium used: Charcoal, colored pencils and pastels.

photo from the class:
(I just love this)

Karen Z Ellis, my wonderful instructor would always say "The Way to Draw is to Draw."

p.s

Now this is a piece inspired by a Novel "Before I go to Sleep."  The name of this particular Art project is "Anytime is a Sleepy Time."

Ha, kidding, some random photo I found on the internet that gave me a good laugh. But you have got to admit it's pretty creative.

Thanks for letting me share
Happy Wednesday Everyone

Frosting aka Jewelry

Rocking the jewels.

Date night = dressing up, and spicing things up with lipstick and some beautiful jewelry by Nashelle . I absolutely adore her work. You will find celebrities like Michelle Marie, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and hilarious Chelsea Handler constantly rocking her stuff. Nashelle is crazy talented and my jewelry wardrobe just would not be the same without her beautiful work. Every lady must treat her self to a little glam by  Nashelle . You can also follow her on instagram @nashelledesigns and @nashelle_oldmilldistrict

Also, if you're a big sushi fan like me and you happen to be in downtown Bend Oregon,  5 Fusion and Sushi Bar is absolutely scrumptious.

Happy Monday everyone

It's Friday!

Wine time???

Did you know there is a "wine" that can actually make you lose weight? In fact... as you drink it you will begin to experience muscle stimulation in your abdomen because it literally turns your flab into fab. Ooh yes... also this wine has amazing age reversing compounds, that'll help you erase ages off your face; wrinkles will begin to vanish right in front of your eyes with every sip that you consume,"crows feet no more!" Overall, it dramatically increases your vitality and longevity.

Unbelievable stuff right? As your reading this you are probably thinking "what the hell?".. as you should; because I made all of that up.  It's just my wishful thinking, dreaming about a perfect "yummy alcoholic health elixir" that will cure all and help save the world. But, if any of you so happen to have had experience any of the symptoms above, well... My dear reader friend "you are impaired," and the only way to solve this problema is to "drink more wine"… though it may result in a serious side effect shown bellow.

Did you know? (now this is an actual TRUE fact)

Going back in history…in ancient Rome, women were not allowed to drink wine. It was a forbidden fruit and if a hubby was ever to catch his woman indulging in such scrumptious, delicious activity he by law was allowed to kill her!

Wowzie, times were mighty hard back then!

p.s
Naked Winery has some unbelievably yummy wine.

Have a great weekend everyone

Interesting encounter…

SOo.. While sitting in my health class this morning, all of the sudden I get this strange, surprising text message.

Humm… My first thought was, am I being punk’d? If so “Ashton come on out”, but come to find out not so much, real officer on the other side.

So I proceeded to respond with some awkward text messages to see what kind of response I can get :) that poor guy, if I could only see the look on his face. I'm assuming I was having more fun with this then he was (me green)

Conclusion:  As of this morning “Mr. Recruiter” and I are now friends and hopefully shared an equal amount of laughter.
"Au revoir" Lena
