Drawings

To Draw, or Not to Draw- that is the question ( Shakespeare knock off)

Some of my work from a drawing class that I took last year:

This was a lot of fun... We had to pick out a section from a mountain of stuff and bring it to live on paper. Charcoal was the medium used.

Final project:

Dedicated to my childhood memories. Mostly done in charcoal and some pastels.

About this next drawing...

It is based on a photograph taken by an Iraqi Artist in an orphanage; the story is... this little girl has never seen her mother, so she drew a mom and feel asleep next to her. (I couldn't find the original photograph) Medium used: Charcoal, colored pencils and pastels.

photo from the class:
(I just love this)

Karen Z Ellis, my wonderful instructor would always say "The Way to Draw is to Draw."

p.s

Now this is a piece inspired by a Novel "Before I go to Sleep."  The name of this particular Art project is "Anytime is a Sleepy Time."

Ha, kidding, some random photo I found on the internet that gave me a good laugh. But you have got to admit it's pretty creative.

Thanks for letting me share
Happy Wednesday Everyone
